There Is Always a Bigger Fish
The first time I walked on the green carpet.
It has been painted in strips of white.
The green carpet is too perfect to be real.
The bright lit sun takes up the whole sky.
The enemy enters our green carpet.
They are huge houses blocking out our sun.
We feel so small, in comparison, it feels cloudy.
They score ten times and the sun shines only on them.
Now it starts to rain only on us.
They are running circles around us beating us 12–0
The game is over and our goalie starts to smile in the rain.
I ask him why he is in such a good mood.
He points to the next team the houses have to face.
And they are even bigger: they are like skyscrapers.
And the skyscrapers block out the houses sun.
We smile.
